The live demo is offline. Its Node.js backend ran on Heroku's free tier, which Heroku shut down in November 2022.

TikTok’s full-screen video feed, rebuilt with a React front end and a Node.js API.

What it does

  • Full-screen vertical videos; tap to play or pause
  • Like, comment and share counts in a side bar
  • Scrolling song name in the footer
  • Video data fetched from an Express API backed by MongoDB

How it’s built

React, Material UI, Axios and react-ticker, with a Node.js, Express and MongoDB backend.
